We were that family who saw no need to send our child to a private school. We changed our minds when our oldest was finishing up her junior year in public schools and our youngest was ready to sign up for kindergarten. Our oldest never quite felt safe in her school and there always seemed to be issues.
We were sold on Blessed Sacramanet School the moment we saw with our own eyes the manners that each student displayed. We also loved knowing that each student had the ability to say God in the classroom without any criticism.
After her first year at Blessed Sacrament School we knew there was no other option but to keep her there. It was the tight knit community that we fell in love with. We loved knowing that each parent there has the same values as we do and they are watching our daughter.
The principal is phenomenal in being on top of things and Father Wilson has the ability to relate to the kids and has a fantastic business sense in how to keep things running and always thinking about the future. The teachers have been great! I love that they are not afraid to tell my child when she has misbehaved. In fact they are helping us to raise a respectful and honorable young lady.
There is a commitment to sending your child to a private school but I truly believe it is worth it. While your child is young and impressionable, this is where you truly have a chance to teach the core values at home and have them reinforced at school. By the time your child graduates their 8th grade year from Blessed Sacrament, you will have all experienced something that you will never forget. You will have experienced God, family, love, community and faith in each other. No matter how tough things can get, you have an amazing community of people to back you up and help you to believe. You have nothing to lose by visiting Blessed Sacrament School; you have everything to gain.Added July 20, 2017 by Julie Courson - ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Blessed Sacrament School is treasure in Newark, Ohio. It is an authentically Catholic school with a rich tradition of high quality learning and dedicated, caring staff and faculty. Father Wilson and Mrs. Packham lead a very capable and sincere group of teachers and staff who take their responsibilities seriously and the pride shows in each of them every day.
Both of our daughters have attended there and they have benefited greatly in their scholastic education as well as their faith lives. This is a fun place to go to school and to develop one's faith, growing up among other committed children, families and supporting staff. It is also a school with several multi-generational families in attendance, which is a witness to the long lasting tradition of quality learning in a safe environment at Blessed Sacrament School.
My wife and I could not be happier with our choice to send our girls to BSS and I recommend it often to prospective parents and students. Please consider the Blessed Sacrament School community high on your list when making your choice!Added April 06, 2017 by Ted Waggoner - ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Our son attended Blessed Sacrament School from 4th grade to 8th and is currently a freshman at Newark Catholic High School. Our experience with the educators, the administration, the staff and volunteers at Blessed Sacrament has been nothing but positive. We enrolled our son at Blessed Sacrament School with the hope that he would receive a sound, well rounded, Catholic education and that is exactly what was provided. Tom & Valerie Koch

The single most important gift we can give our children is the gift of our faith. For that reason alone, our children attend Blessed Sacrament School. All else was secondary when I first spoke to my husband about making this move. Our oldest daughter was then in 6th grade and was devastated when she had to switch to a school where they "wear those dumb uniforms everyday". We didn't know where the funds were going to come from when we took this leap of faith for our family. What we did know was that when God is put first, He doesn't disappoint. That was nine years ago and our other three children are all now attending Blessed Sacrament School. It hasn't always been easy, but it has always being fulfilling. We have been blessed to have witness to God's grace directly as we have made this investment in our children and our Catholic faith. Nothing is perfect; we won't have that until we get to Heaven! However, rest assured that your children are in a safe, loving environment where they will learn their Faith throughout all aspects of their education.
